Family Life Scarlett Johansson was born in New York, on November 22, 1984. Her father was a Danish architect who moved to NY after he divorced his first wife. He married Melanie Johansson and has four children, Vanessa, Adrian, and the twins, Scarlett and Hunter. The she-twin apparently never wants to be the least on the line. Scarlett was born three minutes earlier, and she recalled it as the most important three minutes in her life. She acted as a lonely newlywed who stayed in Japan and had a relationship with an American actor (played by Bill Murray). Good scripts then were pouring into her like autumn leaves. She was cast as Griet in "Girl with a Pearl Earring" (2003) and starred in "A Love Song for Bobby Long" (2004) played with John Travolta. In those two movies, she earned Golden Globe nominations for Best Actress in Drama. Also in Woody Allen's "Match Point" (2005), she earned a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Other Appearances She was cast as Mindy the Mermaid in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (2004), also appeared in one of the "The Client" episodes, aired on CBS. She moreover appeared in several talk shows as well, including Early Show, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Late show with Craig Kilborn, Sharon Osbourne Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Today Show, Late Show with David Letterman, and Live with Regis and Kelly.
Ongoing projects "The Other Boleyn Girl". Scarlett is cast as Mary Boleyn. In this movie, she plays as Natalie Portman's sister. The two compete to win Eric Bana's love. "The Nanny Diaries". Scarlett is cast as the nanny of a wealthy Manhattan family. It turns out that the family was a family from hell. This movie is going to be released in April 20, 2007.

She appeared in some CK's perfume commercials and printed ads, one of which appeared in The Island movie.

Charities Scarlett donated 2,000 of her 'Hearts' shoes to refugees in Southern Sudan. Scarlett joins Oxfam organisation and in 2007, visited India to see how the project went. Scarlett gave away a Miami Flamingo house which she won during the 2007 SuperBowl to charity. She joined anti-poverty campaign organized by Bono (the vocalist of music group U2). Also, she donated many items to Rocky Stone to be given to less fortunate kids as part of the Toy Mountain Campaign.
